English school boards in Quebec are governed by an elected Council of Commissioners. The New Frontiers School Board’s Council of Commissioners is composed of 10 elected commissioners – one representing each of our electoral divisions; an elected Chair; and four commissioners representing our parents. Elections are normally held every four years, with the next ones taking place in November 2024.
Electoral List
School democracy concerns everyone! Parents, adult students, caring citizens… anyone with an interest in the vitality of their neighbourhood can get involved.
To be able to exercise your right to vote, you must first be registered on the permanent list of electors of the Directeur Général des Élections du Québec.
If you have one or more children enrolled in a school of the New Frontiers School Board, and you reside on our territory, you are automatically registered on our electoral list.
If you do not have children or they do not attend one of our schools, you are (by default) entered on the list of electors of the French-language service centre. However, you have the right to choose to be entered on the NFSB electoral list. Simply complete this Notice of Choice.
