Council of Commissioners of the New Frontiers School Board will receive the Financial
Statements and the Auditor’s Report of the New Frontiers School Board for the 2023-2024
school year which ended on June 30, 2024, at the regular meeting of December 3, 2024,
at 19:00 hours.

A summary of the School Board’s financial statements shall be available for examination
as of November 25, 2024, on the NFSB’s website (www.nfsb.qc.ca).

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to electors of the New Frontiers School Board residing in Ward 6 (Valleyfield/Beauharnois/St-Etienne-de-Beauharnois) (www.nfsb.qc.ca/elections) that the electoral list is subject to revision.

To be an elector and to have the right to be entered on the list of electors, a person must, on polling day (November 3, 2024):

• have attained 18 years of age;
• be a Canadian citizen;
• be domiciled in NFSB Electoral Division #6;
• be domiciled in Quebec for at least six months;
• not be under curatorship or be deprived of voting rights;
• not have been convicted within the past five years of any corrupt electoral or referendum practices;
• not have a child enrolled in educational services provided by a Francophone school service centre.

The list of electors may be consulted, and applications for entry, striking off, and corrections, including written notices of the option or revocation of the option to exercise a voting right in an Anglophone school board, may be presented before the Revision Board on:

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to the electors of the New Frontiers School Board by Luisa Benvenuti, Returning Officer, that the following positions are open for nominations:

• One (1) Chairperson
• Ten (10) Commissioners

Nomination papers must be filed at the office of the Returning Officer. Public office hours are:

• Tuesday, September 24, 2024 – 1:00 to 3:00 pm & 5:00 to 7:00 pm;
• Thursday, September 26, 2024 – 1:00 to 4:00 pm; and by the latest, on
• Sunday, September 29, 2024 – 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

If two or more candidates are nominated for any given position, a poll will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and an advance poll will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from noon to 8 p.m.

A revision of the electoral list for those divisions in election only will be held from October 5 – 15, 2024; exact dates and locations to be confirmed.

Electors who do not have a child admitted to educational services in the English language school board or the French language school service centre that covers their home address may choose to exercise or revoke their right to vote at an English language school board. This choice is made by sending the Notice, which can be found at www.nfsb.qc.ca/elections, to the Returning Officer, by October 15, 2024.
